Yard Jerk: Discover Authentic Caribbean Barbecue in Bridgeport

NEVER BEFORE... did I have rice and peas with oxtail that make me want to nam mi hand an' foot dem! MERCY!!! What ah way the food nice!!! The oxtail is the best road bought I have ever had! As long as you are cooking I'm running come! The food is so delicious!

Iyight so I didn’t get to take picks cuzI was starving but next time I promise lol. I just want to start by saying this is the only Jamaican restaurant that I’ve been to had great customer service, every time I go! The food is good and the portions are big. There isn’t a dine in area and there’s usual a line but it moves quick.

i’ve walked past this restaurant many times. Finally stepped in to enjoy its cuisine. It was delicious. There were three of us, I ordered the Curry, shrimp. Large portions, for a decent price. We sat inside, with Limited space. Total of three, two person tables. Theyhave a nice area in front of the restaurant to sit at during the summer.

If you are familiar with Jamaican food restaurants then I assure you this location is worth the stop. It's difficult to find reliable consistent flavors from a Caribbean location in Fairfield County and this is my top pick. The sides can be inconsistent for flavor but not enough to overshadow the benefits of this location. Pro - Consistently good flavors and they've just added the Caribbean flavors of ice cream feat. Rum & Raisin, Stout, etc. Proteins like fried shrimp, bbq fried chicken, and jerk chicken are great choices. Improvements - Potato Salad had a funny taste the last time and you have to be specific in what you want. Oxtail Prices are still very much over priced. Overall 4.8 stars in my humble opinion!

Yard Jerk is awesome! The jerk chicken was delicious and spicier than other places. The beef patty, rice and peas and cabbage were also delicious. They had a display of different foods that all looked so good. Can’t wait to go back! Update: I got the oxtails today and they were soo good! …tender and flavorful and a huge portion!

Order before you go...long wait especially during lunch...food was great...Ordered ackee & saltfish w/fried dumpling...tawdry just my my mom's and jerk pork...soooo good

First time going to this location and I was very impressed. The restaurant was clean and the server was very helpful and patient, as I mulled over which meal I wanted from their delicious choices. The quality of the food was great as well as the serving size. Pricewise you can't go wrong. For the amount of food and drinks that I bought, I was surprised that I paid so little for it. I'll definitely be back there and I've already started spreading the word to my friends and family. Loved it, and you probably will too.
